Refund Policy

The Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department will refund prepaid fees for Environmental Health permits if an inspection is not performed and if notification is received within 10 business days.

If a refund request is not received within the specified time period, it will not be issued.

When a request is made and approved, the Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department will process the refund within 20 business days of the request.

To apply for a refund, please email jhenault@ldchealth.org or call 785-843-3060 within 10 business days.  You will receive an acknowledgment of your application and your refund will be processed within 20 business days of your acknowledgment.

Please specify the name and date fees were paid.
