HIV/AIDS Counseling and Testing

 
If you think you may have HIV, get tested immediately.

The Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department HIV/AIDS services include:
• Confidential and anonymous HIV counseling and testing
• Education concerning HIV infection, transmission and prevention
• Confidential Hepatitis C testing for at-risk individuals also being tested for HIV


Hours

Clinic hours vary, however, no appointment is necessary if a client is only being tested for HIV. For more information, please contact the Health Department clinic at (785) 843-0721 or e-mail nurseinfo@ldchealth.org

Fee
Fees are charged for clinic services, but no one will be denied services due to inability to pay.

How long does it take to get HIV results?
Approximately two weeks. Clients can call the Health Department at (785) 843-0721 for their results.
