Volunteers are needed to manually count bicycles/pedestrians and conduct intercept surveys at several locations along the Lawrence Loop. Data collected on bicycling and walking will assist the Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department in its Lawrence Loop Health Impact Assessment.
The Lawrence-Douglas County Metropolitan Planning Organization, with the help of volunteers, will be conducting bicycle and pedestrian counts:
- 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, April 26
- 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 26
- 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, April 27
- 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 27
- Noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 29
