Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health and LMH Health are operating a combined COVID-19 first dose mass vaccination clinic today at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
The plan is to administer 2,900 vaccinations were administered. About 200 staff from various agencies and volunteers make this clinic possible.
Those who worked at the event represented agencies that included Public Health, LMH Health,
Douglas County Emergency Management, United Way of Douglas County, University of Kansas School of Pharmacy, Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical, Douglas County Sheriff's Office,
Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center, City of Lawrence, Kansas, Douglas County Government.
