Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health and LMH Health are operating a combined COVID-19 second dose mass vaccination clinic today at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
The plan is to administer 2,500 vaccinations were administered. About 150 staff from various agencies and volunteers make this clinic possible.
Those working at the event represent agencies that included Public Health, LMH Health, Douglas County Emergency Management, United Way of Douglas County, University of Kansas School of Pharmacy, Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical, Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center, City of Lawrence, Kansas, Douglas County Government and The Chamber of Lawrence.
