WorkWell Kansas will sponsor several Virtual Tobacco Workshops across the state from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21.
During the workshop, led by worksite wellness expert Dr. Elizabeth Ablah, attendees will learn the impact employee tobacco use has on their business and explore the components necessary to build a comprehensive plan to address it.
Each location will have an on-site local facilitator for in-person assistance. The Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department will serve as Douglas County's facilitator. The workshop will be at the Community Health Facility, 200 Maine St., Lawrence.
Worksites wanting to develop a tobacco control policy or make changes to their current policy are encouraged to attend.
